Throughout the year, the Ferme d’antan offers a variety of half- or full-day activities :  (in French)

• Games of times gone by

• Traditional buildings

• Sheep’s wool

• Flax and linen

• Introduction to Basketry

• Introduction to Breton dancing

• Stories by candle-light

Individual visits

For individuals, the Ferme d’antan also offers courses to learn new skills. These courses are open to all!  (in French)

• Basketry
• Birch broom -making
• Making a traditional Breton lady’s headdress
•Types of courses may vary depending which skills are currently highlighted in the museum.

 

Group visits

1) Groups from Schools and Leisure Centers

There are interactive day and half-day courses for school groups of all ages, where pupils find out about the daily life on a local farm in the 1920s, and the skills ans traditions of rural life at that time.

2) Adult Groups (coach parties, clubs, old people’s groups, twinning associations, works committees)

Groups are invited to come and discover the local cultural heritage, and to share in an experience of the skills and flavours of yesteryear.

Throughout the year, the  Ferme d’Antan offers you the following day and half-day visits and courses: (in French)

An old-fashioned evening at the farm

Evening visit of the site, with mini-plays in gallo (local dialect)

Grand Opening

Grand opening and presentation of the theme "Plan resources". 'Our use of plants: our kwolegde and needs'

Open day "Welcome to my garden"

Sunday, June 14

"Welcome to my garden" aims to invite the public to mett gardeners in the area. In a friendly home environment, they can discuss the practices, know-how, tips and tricks of amateur gardening that allow us to have a beautiful and healty organic garden.

Summer activities

From 16 July to 20 August:

  • Family Entertainment, every Tuesday at 4 pm (no extra cost)
  • Children every Thursday at 4 pm (€1, reservation recommended)

Spring holidays

From April 12 to May 10

  • Family entertainment, on 14 and 21 April from 4-5 pm
  • Children entertainment, on 16 and 23 April, from 4- 5 pm

All Saints holiday

From October 20 to October 31 at 3 pm

  • Family entertainment
