A castle, a fortress, is bound to be a dream playground for children. The Caste at La Hunaudaye serves them particularly welle with a series of activities on offer throughout the year. Workshops, tours, treasure hunts, models and games or even trunks full of specially made costumes which are made available so that the visit to La Hunaudaye remains a beautiful childhood memory.

During All Saint holidays "The interactive adventure"

"The interactive adventure", during All Saints holidays (from 19 th to 30 th October)

Here is an interactive sory which visiting children are the heroes. The narrator suggests to them a story about the Middle Ages in which they are characters. It is up to them to develop the story in the way they decide. The events of the story will sometimes lead them to meet allies, but also dangers and hardships. But they make the right choices to finish their adventure?

Who said it was boring in the Middle Ages?

They already used to play a lot of board games. 'Merelle', 'tablut' or 'alquerque'- strange names for games, some of which are the ancestors of today's games. Games of chance or of strategy, they are suitable for the whole family and will be available in the games room of La Hunaudaye. An activity for the family
