Mountain biker's code

For safe practice, allowing other path users to enjoy the countryside, there are a few rules to remember :

Before you set off :
Know the weather forecast,
Know your route and possible alternatives,
Know about hunting areas and seasons, private and sensitive natural areas,
Check your bike,
Let someone know your destination.

Equipment to take with you :
Safety helmet, glasses and gloves
Repair kit
Water and maps

When out riding :
Be courteous, a friendly wave is always appreciated !,
Stay on the track avoiding sandy and waterlogged areas,
Pedestrians and horse riders have priority,
Follow the Highway code when on the roads,
Control your speed,
Know your strength !

Please do not light fires or leave litter.
Enjoy and respect the tranquillity of the environment and its flora and fauna.
