The Label

The logo "Tourism and Handicap" aims to provide reliable information and an objective description of the accessibility of tourist sites - taking into account all types of disabilities - and develop an offer adapted for disabled people.

The label provides a guarantee of an efficient and adapted welcome. The documents used for the assessment were developed following consultation between the associations of tourism providers and representatives of people with disabilities.

Since 2000, the Tourist Office in Jugon-Les-Lacs has started an ethical involvement to adapt its services to the expectations of people with special needs, and to help with access to holidays and recreation for all.
The Tourist Office has been given, the "Tourism & Handicap" award for a period of 5 years, ensuring a quality welcome, and accessibility for the disabled.
